Sandblasting equipment requires specific techniques for maintenance and upkeep; these components are interconnected in such a way that a failure in one part can trigger a chain reaction affecting the entire system. While one might be tempted to question this complexity, it is a reality that must be accepted: the development of infrastructure inevitably drives the growth of the sand, gravel, and sandblasting machinery industries. Furthermore, in accordance with national directives regarding the structural adjustment of sandblasting machinery-and within the broader context of civil engineering projects such as tunnel construction-there are strict, long-standing requirements regarding the transformation and upgrading of such equipment.
Regarding the maintenance and upkeep of Yoshikawa sandblasting machines, the following measures are implemented according to established protocols. Users are strictly advised to adhere to these procedures to ensure the longevity and optimal service life of the equipment.
1. The Asset Management Department shall regularly supervise and inspect the machinery maintenance status of all units. They shall conduct periodic or random spot checks on the quality of maintenance work, implementing a system of rewards for excellence and penalties for substandard performance.
2. Maintenance personnel and departments must adhere to the "Three Inspections and One Handover" protocol (self-inspection, mutual inspection, specialized inspection, and a single qualified handover). They must continuously summarize their maintenance experiences to consistently improve the quality of their work.
3. To ensure that sandblasting machinery remains in excellent technical condition-ready for immediate operation at any time-it is imperative to strengthen maintenance and upkeep efforts. This serves to minimize downtime caused by malfunctions, increase machinery availability and utilization rates, reduce mechanical wear, extend the equipment's service life, lower operating and repair costs, and ultimately ensure safe production.
4. Maintenance of Yoshikawa sandblasting machinery must be executed with a commitment to quality. All procedures must be performed item-by-item in strict accordance with established requirements; no maintenance tasks may be omitted or neglected. Comprehensive records of all maintenance items, quality assessments, and any issues discovered during the process must be maintained and submitted to the department's designated specialist.
5. Machinery maintenance must be guided by the principle of "balancing repair with upkeep, and prioritizing prevention." This entails adhering to scheduled maintenance routines as a mandatory requirement, while correctly balancing the relationship between usage, routine maintenance, and major repairs. It is strictly forbidden to use the equipment without performing maintenance, or to focus solely on repairs while neglecting routine upkeep.
6. All work teams must perform maintenance on various types of machinery in strict accordance with established maintenance procedures and classification standards. Unjustified delays are prohibited; in exceptional circumstances, maintenance may be postponed only with the prior approval of the supervising specialist. However, any such postponement generally must not exceed half of the prescribed maintenance interval.
